It’s your senior year and you’re getting ready to head off to college, join the military, start a career, or find some other way to take on the world as an adult! This is such an exciting and special time in your life, and that’s why it has become a tradition to capture your personality with senior portraits.
However, many school-based senior portrait photographers don’t really give you a chance to display much personality. After all, how much personality can you exude when you’re sitting in front of a blue or grey plastic screen or leaning against giant foam numbers marking the year of your graduation?
For the record – we have nothing against this type of senior portrait photography. They can be fun and sometimes they are necessary for yearbook pictures and other publications where everyone needs to look the same. These photographers put a great deal of time, effort, and expertise into bringing these services to local high schools, and we applaud them for their hard work and dedication to the profession.
However, wouldn’t be nice if you could let your hair down, relax, change clothes a few times, and show off a little personality and some local character in your senior portraits? And wouldn’t it be ideal if you could order your senior portraits as high resolution digital images on CD so you could use them on facebook, twitter, and other websites, blogs, and social media?
